A little round-up of our favourite products from Frankfurt’s annual international trade show for musical instruments…
Guitars, Amps and Effects
This Overdrive/Distortion pedal will help to add that special ‘je ne sais quoi’ to your guitar sound. All you have to do is be yourself, the Spark Booster will do all the hard work for you.
An ultra-light bass amp (for those of you with smaller guns) that allows you to choose and replace on-board effects until you sound so awesome, you’ll rock your own socks off.
A very unique guitar amp with ONE 12″ speaker, perfect for use on stage.
Same as above but with TWO 12″ speakers (and wheels).
A 100 watt programmable head from Blackstar, designed to make you LOUDER.
A speaker cabinet with a HUGE big sound, designed to go hand in hand with Blackstar’s ID series.
A 60 watt programmable combo that allows you to custom design your own sound, store it and use it live.
This amp is very similar to the ID60TVP mentioned above… it’s just a little bit smaller. They work well together.
Remember we told you about the amazing 1D60? Well, imagine the same amp but with TWO SPEAKERS. That’s right.
A 5 watt valve combo in an original shade of cream, to celebrate Blackstar’s 5th anniversary. There are only 2500 of these amps being produced so if you want one, be quick.
Drums and Percussion
The perfect package for entry-level drummers, including drumsticks, a kick pedal and a drum throne. Legendary.
The brand new SuperNATURAL-powered sound engine for the brand new TD-11K V-Drums (see below). Bangin’.
This new kit features a new sensing technology called “Behaviour Modelling” which will help you to get the most natural sound possible out of your V-Drums.
Same as above; just a little bit better, a little bit more expensive and with more realistic mesh drum pads (as opposed to the TD11K‘s rubber drum pads).
The brand new SuperNATURAL-powered sound engine for the brand new TD-15K V-Drums. Again, bangin’ but in a slightly more advanced fashion.
For use with the TD15K Drum Module, with all mesh drum pads and a sturdier stand to boot – much more suitable for the touring drummer.
Same as above but with even BETTER mesh drum pads. Basically, this one’s the king.
Keyboards and Modules
Nord’s brand spanking, shiny red, 61-key, semi-weighted synth. New, improved and very hands-on.
Something a little bit different from Roland in the shape of an Oriental Arranger Keyboard, tailored to the sounds of the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa.
Roland’s super shiny new upright piano, with built-in rhythm accompaniments, a metronome and a recorder to aid and enrich your piano performances.
Remember the Jupiter 80? It combined vintage synth sounds (with a pretty old school casing to boot) with advanced SuperNATURAL technology AND a massive sound. Well, imagine that but cheaper – and, as a result, with less sound options – but still a total beast.
A polyphonic expression pedal, designed specifically for most MIDI-compatible organs. Futuristic, eh?
A simple, compact USB adapter that allows Roland’s electronic instruments to communicate fluently with iOs devices.
PA and Live Sound
A fun vocal processor that is ideal for beginners, right through to professionals. Whether you’re a singer, a beatboxer, a rapper… whatever it is you do with your voice, the VE5 could well be your new best friend.
Desktop monitors with a difference, designed with a unique slant to help achieve the best listening experience possible.
High-quality headphones, designed with digital pianists in mind. What’s more, they come with open-air construction so you can have a conversation without removing your headphones. Happy days.
