What difference does scale length make? – Question of the Day

The scale length measures the sounding length of a guitar string on a guitar. Scale lengths vary from around 63cm to 65cm. A shorter scale length feels looser, and hence easier, to play. However this may mean the tone is not as bright as on a longer scale instrument.
