Who Are you, Where are you from?
Hi were Called Idea For A Film, from Manchester. Formally known as Mount Fabric, we have taken a new direction.
Tell us a bit about the music you make.
We love to write music and have established our sound by playing together for 9 years. We can take you on swirling soundscape or hit you with a dark melodic thrash.
When did you start and what made you want to start making music?
We starting writing together back in 2008 , we all met through Gumtree adverts back when Gumtree was hip! We all wanted to play in a band and it just seem to click when we all starting learning to write music together.
Stage or Studio?
I much prefer the stage expressing yourself on stage and the exhilaration is like no other feeling I have ever had.
What gear do you use to make your tunes?
Where do I start, we love the EHX and POD pedals and Fender guitars generally, one guitarist has a Gibson Les Paul. We all have quite large pedal board to try and make unique sounds.
What is your choice bit of gear and why?
For me it has to be the Holy Stain reverb pedal used on bass and guitar, we also love the Fender Jaguar range, which we also have on guitar and bass.
Where can we check out your tunes?
