The fifth generation, and new flagship, Nord Stage pianos have been revealed. The new Nord Stage 3 performance keyboards will feature the award-winning technologies that Nord are famous for: the Nord Lead A1 Synth Engine with sample playback, the glorious Nord C2D organ, a greatly enhanced piano section and of course a big range of hands-on effects.
Performance wise, the new series promises live-focused improvements which will make the Stage 3 even more flexible and intuitive than its predecessors. Two super-clear OLED displays for on-stage clarity, seamless transitions when changing sounds, and the addition of am all-new Song List Mode.
For absolute sonic flexibility, the Nord Stage 3 has three sound generating sections; Piano, Organ and Synthesiser, all of which can be used simultaneously. And the Piano Section has doubled its memory to 2GB and greatly expanded polyphony of 120 voices, making them an ideal piano for performers.
The Nord Stage 3 are handmade in Sweden and come in three models:
Nord Stage 3 Compact
The Nord Stage 3 Compact is a 73-note Semi-Weighted Waterfall keybed (E-E) with new Physical Drawbars. The Compact models also supports the Nord Half-moon Switch.
Nord Stage 3 HP76
The Nord Stage 3 HP76 is an extremely lightweight 76-note Hammer Action Portable keybed (E-G)
Nord Stage 3 88
The Nord Stage 3 88 is a top-of-the-line 88-note fully weighted Hammer Action Keybed (A-C)
