Roland announce the GP609 Digital Grand Piano
Roland are the pioneers of digital piano innovation and haven’t stopped moving forward since developing the world’s first touch-sensitive electronic piano in the 70’s.
And today Roland have demonstrated once again that there’s no slowing them down when it comes to state-of-the-art innovation.
From glancing at the photo above, you’ll already have the feeling that Roland’s newest digital piano model is something bigger, more ambitious and extraordinary than we’ve seen in a long time.
Introducing the Roland GP609 Digital Grand, where technology and tradition coexist in an organic way. By combining the feel and touch of playing a traditional acoustic with the ability to explore modern digital technologies, and housing those elements in a classic grand piano cabinet design, Roland have designed an immensely impressive digital piano that’s elegant, yet modern.
This digital piano features the brilliant piano modelling technology that Roland have developed themselves, meaning those rich and expansive natural tones you hear when playing an acoustic piano are brought to life here in the digital world.
The GP609 has been designed with an elegant and traditional style, while still keeping the body compact enough to fit in to your home. And there will be a choice of two finishes available for the Roland GP-609: a slick polished ebony, or a modern polished white.
We’ll be visiting Roland to try out the piano before they become available to the public, so you can expect us to report back with more detail very soon!
