Nord Lead 4 synth announced: praise the Nord!
It seems that already the Frankfurt Musikmesse music gear trade show has produced more new gear than the whole NAMM show, and it hasn’t even begun! New from Nord (and anticipated by us several months ago, naturally) is the Nord Lead 4 synthesiser:

Spec-wise, the whole synth engine has been overhauled. It’s not analogue, but it may as well be judging by the sound. Also, in a departure from previous incarnations, the Nord Lead 4 features a unique Wavetable mode for even more insane sonic mangling, new filters and, naturally, like all Nord synths it’s built like a concrete commode.
The Nord Lead 4 will be landing on UK shores at the end of May 2013 with an RRP of £1549.
