What is the Fender Micro-Tilt adjustment?

Guitar not set up quite right? Got those bridge saddles as low as they’ll go? Got a Fender with a little hole in the neck plate? The Fender Micro-Tilt adjustment, now available on over two-dozen instruments, including the fantastic American Standard Telecaster, is what you need.
Sort your neck angle with the Fender Micro-Tilt adjuster
There is a lot of stuff involving angles in a guitar and each one is important in giving you the tone, playability and comfort you want in your instrument.
One of these angles is the angle of the neck. If you’ve got your saddles set as low as they will go your neck might be too flat. Normally, to adjust this you would need to take the neck off and put a ‘shim’ in the neck pocket.
Or, you can simply loosen the neck screws and give your Fender Micro-Tilt adjustment a couple of quick tweaks with an Allen key.
How does Micro-Tilt work?
The Fender Micro-Tilt system simply lets you angle the neck back by driving a screw into the neck pocket, tipping the neck forward (after loosening the neck bolts, obviously!). This can be done very quickly and easily, letting you experiment with different setups without too much hassle.
