Red Dog Music wins at the UK Blog Awards!

UK Blog Awards 2015 WinnersLast Friday, on our way home from Frankfurt Musikmesse, we stopped off in London for the 2015 UK Blog Awards. Thanks to all of you, we made the shortlist of the final ten – from hundreds of entries – in the Arts & Culture category. The shortlist was based entirely on your votes, so we owe you a huge load of thanks.

What did come as a bit of a shock was – after a rigorous independent judging process – we won, and against some pretty impressive competition at that!

There were some very impressive blogs in the shortlist, so it did come as quite a surprise, but, with more and more of you reading every day, we knew we were doing something right!

Well, there’s our marker. We’ve benchmarked ourselves and it’s time to crack onwards and upwards!

As always, we’ll do our best to keep you informed with the latest news, reviews, FAQs, tech tips and tricks, witty and informative editorials and opinion pieces, as well as mostly pointless – but consistently read – features with puns about cheese in song titles.

Best arts blogOf course, it’s not just our blog, it’s yours too so if you have any suggestions, questions or things that you want answered, give us a shout via @reddogmusic or on Facebook and we’ll do our best to answer.

Once again, to all involved, voters, readers, contributors, judges, organisers, suppliers, this is for y’all and we’ll keep working hard to keep it up!

Now where is my dictionary of cheeses…
