Watch 1000 musicians play Foo Fighters “Learn To Fly”
We’ve heard of supergroups, but this is ridiculous!
The brainchild of Fabio Zaffagnini, the Rockin’ 1000 is a project put together seemingly with the sole aim of getting the Foo Fighters to perform in Cesena, Italy for the first time in almost 2 decades. Probably one of the best ways to get the attention of Dave Grohl & co, and certainly the most ostentatious publicity stunt the music industry has seen for a while.
It also certainly cements the the old-guard Seattle pop-rockers reputation as one of the most powerful, important bands of all time; many bands struggle to get 1,000 people to just attend a gig, but the Foos can inspire 1,000 musicians to come together and create the arguable the biggest wall of harmonious noise humanity has ever made.
