We’re hiring: Web Sales Administrator position available in Leeds
Red Dog Music is a multiple award winning retailer of musical instruments and equipment based in Edinburgh, Leeds, London and online. Our Leeds store is the friendliest general music shop in the city and is widely respected for the huge range of products available and the friendly, knowledgeable service – and cups of tea – provided by our lovely team of musical equipment experts.
Role: Web Sales Administrator
Reporting to: Web Division Manager
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, plus staff meetings, training sessions, stock takes, and other activities when required.
This role requires the candidate to be able to adapt to new scenarios and challenges as Red Dog Music grows and adapts to the future of MI sales online. We require someone who can show excellent problem solving skills and outstanding attention to detail whilst enjoying a positive and happy working environment that allows them to grow in our business.
Responsibilities of role
Processing daily web sales through to completion
Dealing with back order sales that require customer interaction
Communicating with customers to provide updates through the sales process
Helping customers to discover alternate solutions and cross sell when appropriate
Supporting customers who are struggling to receive their item, their item is faulty or their item needs repairing
Ensuring that customer details are completed correctly into our various systems
Keeping customers informed throughout their Red Dog journey
Ensuring all customers receive a ‘5-star’ service
Accurate pick and pack of Leeds stock sales
Continual maintenance of brands through audit (price, description, image)
Producing and maintaining website content, including product and category pages, blogs and articles
Publishing new SKUs on demand
Working with marketing to facilitate campaigns by ensuring content quality and accuracy
Working with the Leeds team and purchasing teams to help purchase goods for the whole company
To make independent decisions to minimise the overall cost of sale and deliver savings to the company
Maintaining good supplier relationships
Ensuring internal transfers are processed quickly and efficiently
The responsibilities of this role are expected to evolve and adapt as Red Dog Music continues to grow its online presence
